About the artist
I grew up in Lahore, Pakistan. I found my love of art at Queen Mary College Lahore with wonderful teachers. I followed my interest at NCA Lahore where I completed my BFA with major painting and minor sculpture. For many years I worked at Packages Ltd Lahore as Graphic Designer, teaching and painting at the same time. However, at the beginning of 2012, I began making art full time and selling my work online too.
About My Work:
My paintings are studies of nature including landscapes, cityscapes, clouds, insects and the colour of feathers. I am interested in trying to paint realism in narrow subjects, taking time to carefully plan each painting. Each painting paves the way for the next one and is a stepping stone towards my goal to do better work. I create depth through composition, colour variations and perspective. I see this as an extension of my previous work, even though the subject matter is quite different.
